Faith Musvipwa received her Master’s degree in Sociology at University of Venda (UNIVEN) with a research project on Oral Narratives of Selected Female Migrants in South Africa: Case study of Thohoyandou in the Limpopo Province. Currently, she is a PhD candidate in the GIDRT program under the supervision of Prof. Jeanine Braithewaite (Frank Batten School of Leadership and Public Policy, UVa), Dr. Scott Heysell (Department of Infectious Diseases and International Health, UVA) and Dr. Rendani Tshifhumulo  (Department of Sociology, UNIVEN). Her main focus is on the social aspect of Global Infectious diseases researching on knowledge and attitudes pertaining to HIV and AIDS treatment among the 'traditionally religious" in the Limpopo Province of South Africa. After the program she will continue working towards her PhD in Microbiology at UNIVEN.
