Dinner at CGH on the UVA Corner

To the First and Second Year Classes,

The Center for Global Health is hosting a dinner on Wednesday 13 September, 6-8PM to advance the interests of undergraduate students who are actively seeking global health engagement and scholarship. The dinner will focus on mentorship and methodology, offering opportunities to connect directly with faculty and to advance knowledge of interdisciplinary resources at UVa and globally.

CGH works to encourage and foster the development of emerging global health and development leaders at UVa. Global Health Month facilitates connections and discussion among leading faculty mentors and students who seek guidance as they navigate opportunities for collaboration and deeper involvement in all that the University has to offer.

The Global Health Dinner Series has traditionally involved a focus on topics in global health such as mental health, global health and sustainability, environmental health, gender equality and maternal health, leadership and community involvement, and many more.

We offer a limited opportunity to engage with faculty and peer leaders in a substantive and meaningful space. For this reason, please indicate your interest via this form. The deadline to apply to attend this event is Friday, September 8th (midnight). After reviewing all received forms, CGH will confirm your participation on Sunday September 10th.

We thank you for your interest and support.
