Christopher C. Moore, MD

Dr. Christopher C. Moore interests include sepsis pathophysiology with particular interest in the role of the innate immune system and sepsis pathophysiology, management, and outcomes of HIV infected patients in sub-Saharan Africa. Recently, he has written recently about the outcomes of patients with severe sepsis in Uganda as well as the immune response to experimental sepsis. The UVa Mbarara University of Science and Technology research and training collaboration started in 2007 under the leadership of Dr. Moore.
